A Wonderful Plan

David wanted to bring the ark of God to Jerusalem. He gathered musicians, leaders, and families for a joyful trip.

Everyone was excited, but the first plan used the wrong kind of cart. The journey had to stop because the holy object was not being carried as God had instructed.

Stop and Learn

David did not blame everyone else. He searched the instructions and asked wise helpers what they had missed.

They learned that the ark should be carried carefully by the people appointed for that work. David prepared a new plan.

Music on the Road

This time the ark was carried the right way. Trumpets sounded. Drums answered. Harps and voices filled the road.

David danced with all his strength because gratitude had overflowed into joy.

Bread for Everyone

The celebration was not only for important people. David blessed the people and shared food so families could return home with something good.

True celebration includes others. Joy grows when it is generous.
